It’s Friday, y’all! I’m seriously considering conducting a mini-hibernation event over the weekend. Looking forward to my impending hibernation, I’m going to give away a 12oz. jelly jar of my homemade, strawberry jam.
I’m not trying to toot my own horn, but people who eat this stuff say it’s the best they’ve ever had.
Anyway, because of the excitement over my hibernation, coupled with my extreme happiness over the cool weather and changing leaves (Fall’s my favorite season!), I’m giving one, lucky reader a jar of the jam. Goes great on homemade biscuits, cornbread, pb&j sandwiches. Or a spoon.
So, here’s how to enter to win.
Click “comment” below and leave a comment which answers the following question:
What’s your favorite thing about the Fall season?
Going out to stare at the leaves.
Couldn’t be happier,
AinW

I LOVE the punkin party too. I think my favorite thing about fall is driving out on the mountain with the top down and looking at the leaves. The best time is right at the sun set!

I love fall because of : high school homecomings, pumkin spiced lattes, candy corn, windy days, football games, carmel apples, hay bales, “It’s the Great Pumkin Charlie Brown!” movie, and my birthday, hint hint!

Well, no changing leaves in San Diego but I do love a season of comfort food and the return of the sweater … But most of all, I love Heather’s jam 😉

Just made the move from Minneapolis to LA, so no more fall for me 😦 I’m real sad about that one because it’s by far my favorite season.
Hopefully some homemade jam can lift my spirits!

Awww…so sad about the move! Well, at least you can go to the beach. I just moved from San Diego to East Tennessee. Believe me when I say in January, you’ll be the lucky one! You’re in the jam running!

The beautiful, clear blue skies against a combination of fir and colorful trees. It really is true we have “the bluest skies you ever saw are in Seattle!” The crispness in the air and the coziness of early darkness. Smells of soup in the crock pot when you come home at night. A first fire in the fireplace. Fantastic sunrises. And,warm rolls slathered with someone’s delicious strawberry jam!! Love the changing seasons.

It’s blowing outside my house. In fact, it keeps blowing my scarecrow over. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s really the wind, or if he’s suicidal.

That is too funny. You can’t make this stuff up! I laugh everyday over your adventures (not in a bad negative way), it’s as good as watching a comedian! Thank you for your willingness to share it with the world!

Fall like: (I’m limiting myself to one since you only asked for one). . . I like being able to open the windows and feel the fresh air in the house instead of being cooped up with the A/C on. . .

Oh, me too! I get so tired of the A/C, though I do appreciate its coolness…

re: Fall
Fall is my favorite time of the year too. Yet ANOTHER thing we have in common!
Fall by Marj
Brisk chilly air that’s not biting,
Scents of wood smoke in the air.
Children laughing, leaves are falling,
Sticky marshmellow stuck in my hair.
Warm cozy covers, soft as fleece.
Football fans cheering, screaming,
Touchdown!
Driving through the mountains, Trick or Treating.
Harvesting God’s bounty before the first freeze.
A time of refreshment, relaxation, and rest.
These are a few reasons I like autumn best.

Poetic, perhaps. Apparently I can’t follow directions, though. I didn’t realize we were supposed to just put ‘one’ reason. 🙂
